HOW TO BOOK
RE-BOOKERS
If you are currently staying with us and would like to re-book your current room or choose an alternative for the next academic year (subject to availability), we are pleased to advise that we can now progress your application for the 2009/2010 academic period.
We are currently marketing rooms for the 2009/2010 academic year and demand is high therefore, please contact a member of the Accommodation Team as soon as possible to reserve your room. You can contact the team at either the Management Suite on site or on 020 7253 7603. A re-booking fee of £250 will secure your room and this amount will convert to your security deposit upon moving in. Once you have received your Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement (AST) you room will be reserved for 21 days to enable you to sign and return your AST to us. At which time you can relax knowing your accommodation for 2009/2010 is secure.
Your existing deposit is held separately and subject to any outstanding monies at the end of your current tenancy, will be returned to you. This is in accordance with a recognised Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
NEW CUSTOMERS
If you don’t currently live at Therese House, there are many ways for you to reserve your room – but demand is high therefore we recommend you book as early as possible.
Application Form by Phone – Please call us on 020 7253 7603 for an application form and we will send one to you and we can, if you wish, take a booking fee over the phone to secure your room.
In Person – Please call into the Management Suite on site where we will be pleased to help you choose your accommodation. You will be able to see sample rooms along with all the facilities on site. Simply choose which room or studio you would like to live in (subject to availability), complete an application form, pay your booking fee and your room will be reserved for you. You then have 21 days in which to sign and return your AST to us. Once received, your accommodation will be secure for 2009/2010.
BOOKING FEE
In order to secure your accommodation at Therese House we will need a booking fee of £250.00. We will then prepare your AST for you to sign and return. Once you have received your AST you have 21 days to sign and return it. If you want to cancel your booking within this 21 day period, your booking fee will be refunded to you in full. You must advise the site team in writing if you want to cancel you booking within the 21 day period. If you cancel after this period, the booking fee is non-refundable.
Once we have received your signed AST your booking fee will then be transferred to become your security deposit during your residency at Therese House.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Subject to any outstanding monies, this will be returned to you at the end of your tenancy. This is in accordance with a recognised Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
TENANCY AGREEMENT
Our Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement (AST) is a legally binding document between you as the Tenant and Landlord with Vine Student Living acting as agent. It is a simple, but important document that is easy to understand and contains no unusual Terms and Conditions. The AST has been reviewed by Accreditation Network UK (ANUK) under the Code of Standards for Larger Student Accommodation, and has been approved by them. However, you should always seek legal advice before signing any contract.
